caucatas are amphibious creatures who thrive
in tropical wetland. they vary from 2 to 3 feet
tall, and 3-4 feet long including the tail. these
creatures are like no other. they are born with
an odd parasite in their body. this parasite makes
itself comfortable in the host's tail, and soon
takes over the body, in which the caucata is
basically a brain-washed zombie. the tail is
thinned and go under a monstrous change,
though tails varies depending on the type
of parasite.
female caucatas have throat sacs which are used
to store eggs and communicate, while males have
vibrant frills that drape over their necks which are
displayed for dominance. caucatas are strictly
carnivorous, but may eat nuts and fruits rarely.
these animals are also quite hostile, and usually
live solitary lives. a female caucata may have up
to three offspring, and they stay by their mother's
side until they are two years old.
caucatas have gecko-like features. large, round
eyes and sticky feet which can grip onto almost
any type of surface. caucatas have compact,
sturdy, and bulky bodies, but are notably slow.
they are semi-aquatic, but they need to spend
most of there time near water. caucatas don't
mind company, but if others get too close,
they are sure to get a good beating.

A | Sorry, but no. It kind of takes away the realism.

A | Unfortunately no, as they are very dangerous and unpredictable.

A | Not right now but perhaps in the future !

Q | How long do Caucatas live ?
A | Caucatas are immortal in terms of aging, but they certainly can die of wounds, sickness, etc.

Q | Can Caucatas have fur or feathers ?
A | No. Caucatas only have slippery skin.

Q | What color(s) can Caucatas be?
A | Caucatas vary in dull colors. Nothing "pastel" or "neon". Only males may have brighter markings/colors.

Q | What markings can Caucatas have?
A | A whole bunch! Spots, stripes, splotches, you name it!

Q | Can I have a baby Caucata?
A | Sorry, but not at this moment. The only Caucatas you may own are adults.

Q | What are the tail variants?
A | As stated before, Caucatas have a parasite in them which basically control them as "zombies". There are two types of parasites;
"Fauna" which create tails like theses and "Flora" which create tails like these. (Artists may use the tails provided or create tails of their own. Fauna tails take an "animal-like" shape, while Flora tails take a "plant-like" shape.
