This is the adoption thread for the Morak species. In short, Moraks are a sort of hybrid between a wolf and a lion.
More about the species can be found below and on the species information thread. Now, before we get into the world of
the Moraks, I believe I should address sometime of importance...

It was brought to my attention after commissioning these beauties that they are similar to the Tokota species on deviantart
(I don't really deal with species on dA, so I've never heard of them before). This is the official statement that I was not aware
of the Tokota species at any point before creating the Morak. They were never intended and will never be intended as a
copy/stealing of Tokotas.

Morak appear as a wolf-lion hybrid. They are about the size of a large lion, and they are bulkier than the normal
wolf. Like lions, Morak males have a thick mane covering their necks. Females lack the mane. They were historically used
by the native people of Iceland to hunt large animals, such as bear, moose, elk, etc. They have also been used as security
and help around the household. Moraks have a multitude of personalities, though they tend to only bond with a single handler.

Moraks are much larger than your average wolf. They stand between 3-4 feet, with females typically on the lower
side. The overall appearance of the Moraks looks similar to a wolf. However, like a male lion, male Moraks have a thick mane
covering their neck, while females lack the mane. As far as colors go, Moraks come in a variety of colors. More about Morak
genetics can be found below.

Moraks have a faction system of living. More about factions can be found below. Wild Moraks are aggressive
and cautious things, like most wild animals. However, if you're good enough, you may be able to get close enough to
tame one. Moraks are very hard to bond with, but it is possible. Moraks are highly loyal, and they tend to bond with only
one person. They can be used to assist in hunting, security, and general work, such as pulling carts, deliveries, etc.

Moraks have many different coat colors and patterns. Each Morak has one of the four base coats. However,
these base coats can be acted upon by modifiers, or genes that change the shade of the base coat. Morak also have
several possible markings and white marks that may occur.

In a Morak's genotype, only the modifiers and marking genes will be shown. There are no genes for the base coats.

The following markings can be codominant, which means that a Morak may have a gene for two different
markings, and they can both show.

Factions

While Moraks may have various relationships with other species, within their own they are divided. Factions
are similar to wolf packs. There is an Alpha Male and Female, a Beta Male and Female, and faction members.
There are four distinct factions that Moraks may belong: Numos, Eques, Venator, and Parvos. Numos translates
to "royal" in Latin. This faction consists of the most prominent Morak. Members of this faction usually have something
that makes them special. Eques translates to "knight" in Latin. Members of Eques tend to have a more aggressive
or independent personality. Venato translates to "hunter" in Latin. Members of this faction tend to be more
cooperative and friendly than members of Eques. They work well with a group. Parvos translates to "small" in
Latin. This faction is the smallest and weakest. They usually hold outcasts or unsocial Morak. A Morak may also be
factionless, which is sort of like a loner. They do not associate with the factions, and are usually not welcomed near
the faction territories.

I've added a new social order among Moraks. I would appreciate it if everyone could tell me what they think, any improvements that could be made, etc.
