Welcome to Vhanni Equine V.2!
Vhanni are unique and valuable work horses that were used throughout the ages. They are one of the oldest and most fine-bred of all equine species and are prized for their strong legs and sturdy builds. Vhanni are very comfortable around humans and other small animals, but have instincts that if their human owners do not meet their standards, they will become very skittish and aggressive towards their owners.
Species Standards
Vhanni are an old species and it is impossible to get them evolved to a different way in life. Vhanni have an interesting way of living, they take leadership and living in a group very seriously. Wild Vhanni live in herds that have a lead male and female (called Alphas)Alpha Vhanni are chosen by their birth markings, Vhanni with swirled and tribal-like markings are chosen as the alpha Vhanni and other Vhanni deeply trust them, Vhanni never trust one another unless the leaders of the herd trust them. Because of this, Herdless Vhanni live alone, they refuse company of a mate or friends unless there is an alpha to trust. Domesticated Vhanni also share this trait, and to mirror this, people who own Vhanni ranches have at least 1 Alpha Vhanni to ensure the trust and safety of their other Vhanni. If no Alpha Vhanni is present, people only own 1 Vhanni.
Farms and Ranches
Their is a big difference between a Vhanni ranch and a Vhanni farm. Ranches are places dedicated to owning multiple Vhanni and have at least 1 alpha. A farm is a place where only one Vhanni is owned because no alpha is present. Boarding your Vhanni is also an option, say you want to collect more Vhanni. but it is impossible to get an alpha. You may board your vhanni to other people's ranches for a fee of their choice if you still want to collect vhanni. you may stop your board once you manage to own at least 1 alpha.

Adopting
Adoption is easy, Vhanni ready to adopt are posted right on this adoption page and a contest will be held for each one. Contests will be non-profit and will probably be based on raffles,names,pictures, and things similar to that. If your form wins the contest, you win the adoption rights of the particular Vhanni that the contest was held for. Runner up Vhanni can also be rewarded to people who had an excellent form, but did not win a Vhanni.
Breeding
Breeding is also easy, to breed Vhannis, post on the breeding form (under construction) with the pictures of the Vhanni you would like to breed. You must breed oppostite gendered Vhanni together and alpha Vhanni only breed with another alpha (that being said, Vhanni herds only have a male and female alpha Vhanni) Magical fruits may also be earned for breeding, strange fruits to change a vhanni's gender or magical fruits to breed two same gendered vhanni together.
Pound
If for whatever reason you don't want your Vhanni, you may return it. Custom Vhanni can be returned but I am still happy to make another custom for you if that is the circumstance, unwanted adopted Vhanni and foals can be returned to the adoption center but will not get a replacement.
