Use this for the adoptable rats. A male is called a buck, a female is a doe and rats only live up to three years unless they are really domesticated and pampered then they can live up to six.

UH! You hypocrite! You say "Don't say rats are disgusting" then you go on to say "wild rats who are crazy and spread disease"! Wild rats are NOT crazy in any way! They are just wild animals like any other. And they do NOT EVER, EVER EVER spread disease. The fleas and ticks that live on them do! And for that matter it isn't even the fleas and ticks fault. They don't go around collecting diseases on purpose! Get your facts straight before you go around all hypocritical.

P.S. I would apologize for yelling but rats are harmless creatures who need to be defended so I will yell all I want to protect their good name. The worst a rat can do is bite you. Boo Hoo. They will only bite you if they feel threatened, so it's your fault you were bitten anyway. Rats are the kindest, friendliest, smartest, and best animals out there. And they make the BEST pets.

They did not! As I said before, it was the ticks and fleas on them! They just hitched a ride on the rats! Why does everyone have that misconception?
Rats do not cause death. And if they do, it is because they themselves have gotton sick. When you have a cold, is it your fault you got it? NO! we forced rats out of their homes into the sewers. If you were in the sewers you would get sick to. And god knows you would be pretty cranky too!
They make FANTASTIC pets. I have 2 who I love more than anything (except my cat who I love equally)
As I said, biting only causes death if the rat itself is sick. And in that case, the rat is probably going to die anyway. And if you live in any kind of populated area you can be at the hospital 99 times out of 100 you will live.
Boohoo is right boohoo. And you better stop being so judgmental and closed minded about rats. Remember, they can bite through steal. More importantly bone. You'd do well not to **** them off!

EDIT: In MY opinion they are the best pet. But I also know that they are smarter than dogs. If you tell a rat to get the red ball they will get the red ball, not sit there and lick their butts!

Right, I love rats. My friend has two rats and they are awesome. We watch them run around her room.

I'm going to settle this right now, and after I say this, no more fighting. Rats themselves to not spread disease. It's the the disease inside of them. It's not thier fault they don't know about it, considering animals don't have a mind like humans. Rats don't spread disease. Thier system does.
