You enter a large ranch-style building and see a large, round desk at one end of the room. You start to approach the desk, but stop when you hear something following after you. You turn around, and see what, at first, looks like a chunky rooster. The rooster stares up at you, and then- to your surprise- sits back on his hind legs, and lifts a pair of front legs up into the air, much like a begging dog.
This strange creature is a Chifloof! A four-legged bird that resulted from a bird setting on an infertile platypus egg. Now, however, we don't have to work quite so hard to produce more chifloofs, as it turns out they can produce little chicks on their own! They are quite friendly, personable creatures, and make wonderful backyard or house pets! You can read more about Chifloofs here!
How Do I Adopt?
The only cost of adopting a chifloof is effort!
Here is a step-by-step guide to adopting your own chifloof!
1. Read the entire first post- especially the rules!
2. Look under the main picture to see the selection of Chifloofs.
3. Find one you like, and click on its image to go to its thread.
4. Make sure it is still open, if it isn't, then find a different one :)
5. Once you've found an open one, check out in its thread to see what the artist requires you to do.
6. Complete the form and fulfill the requirements to the best of your ability!
7. Now you just wait and hope for the best! If you don't get the one you want, don't worry, there will be plenty more to choose from!
**You can also check out the Nursery to see if there are any chicks left over from breedings that are up for adoption!
Rules
1. Respect all staff and users! No arguing, whining, bribing, etc.
2. Chifloofs (c) Perocore - Do not copy/steal/claim
3. You may own as many Chifloofs as you like, just don't be greedy!
4. Realize that artists and mods have their own lives, so contests may take time to judge, new adopts may take a while, etc.
5. Spam will not be tolerated. "Marking" is fine, but do not us all caps or text speak, or discuss the weather.
6. You can NOT ever sell Chifloofs to other users. If you no longer want it, tell the artist and they will put it back up for adoption.
7. Always credit Perocore when drawing or writing about your Chifloofs.
8. Have fun, ask questions, enjoy yourself.
