Lantern Lights
Lantern Lights look like cats, though slightly more wispy at ends and such, and their tail carries a lantern, always with a deep crack in it. These cats also wear a mask on their face with an expression, which varies depending on their creation's backstory. The cats have big, bushy tails, and the ability to float in the air, as well as emit light. These cats can have part of the light they are made up of come off, in which case the cat can be injured or start having personality problems- such as split personality -mental problems- such as insanity -or physical problems- such as not being able to preform certain tasks. But how is a Lantern Light created? They are created whenever a lantern is dropped by someone, and a crack appears. The light seeps out, and will create a Lantern Light. Depending on how the person who dropped the light was feeling before they did, the mask of the cat will reflect it. But what if two deep cracks that aren't connected appear on a lantern? You get two Lantern Lights- twins. They may never meet, they may always be with each other, but they will resemble each other and often one will be missing what the other has. One may be very athletic but not very kind, and the other the other way around. The lantern they carry around with them is the one they emerged from. Losing the lantern can cause great distress, and when a Lantern Light is a twin, they only will have half of the lantern. When ever two go to breed, the male will steal a lantern from a human, and give it to the female, though sometimes the male will steal a different lantern light's lamp, causing a very muddled Lantern Light to appear that will be sickly and frail, and most of these die.. The female will then drop this lantern gift, given as a mating gift, and they will most likely get one child, maybe two. They always start as a baby when they hatch from a lantern, and then they grow. They are made of light, able to solidify, and the lantern is chained to their tail, connected even in light form.
Rarity
Half lanterns make a Lantern Light very rare, although it makes them different, and do not pass through genetics. So, in breedings, they are very rare, picked by a number out of 35, although the number will not be revealed.
A Lantern Light with a wrath mask is very rare, as a feeling of anger and hate must be the biggest feeling in the dropper's mind, which hardly ever happens.
A Lantern Light with a content mask is rare, as a feeling of content must be the biggest feeling in the dropper's mind.
A Lantern Light with a happy mask is common.
A Lantern Light with an angry mask is common.
A Lantern Light with a hateful mask is uncommon.
A Lantern Light with a sad mask is common.
A Lantern Light child that never grows up, or a PPS, is rare.
