Behkik
-Origins-
The Behkik is a type of nocturnal reptile that reside in the jungles of the planet Ekara. Ranging through out the world, all with unique and exotic patterns.
Behkiks are named for the the wide range of vocalizations. The loudest being a wailing, siren like call that can be heard up to ten miles away. Although, the siren call is only produced during the breeding season. Behkiks get their name from the chattering sound they make. For solitary reptiles, they are very talkative.
With great intelligence and a territorial nature, some of the residing humans will use them as a sort of guard dog. With a mouthful of sharp teeth and a whip-like tail, not much will threaten a Behkik face-to-face.
Behkiks have a prehensile tail and are primarily tree-dwelling, however some will live close to water as they have a fondness toward it. Their diet consists mainly of fruit and small mammals, however fish and birds are also eaten.
Colors can range from drab to fab, sometimes carrying striking resemblance to different creatures or symbols.

- FAQs -
• Will my Behkik die?
They typically live up to 50 years. Due to the fact that Behkiks are a fictional species, they do not die unless you want them to. There is no need to worry about suddenly loosing your Behkik.
• Can I add accessories to my Behkik?
Well, they are intelligent reptiles, but unless they are tamed then I wouldn't see them with too many accessories. But go ahead and add them!
• Do Behkiks have powers?
Sadly no. Unless we have a special event, then there should never be a Behkik that can shoot fire from its face.
• How do I become a staff member?
When we are looking for staff members, we will open applications on this thread for a specific position.
• How big is a Behkik?
From nose to tail tip the average Behkik is three feet long with the tail being longer than the body. Males can weigh up to 30-40 pounds and females from 15-30 pounds.
