Quell are lizardlike, furry creatures that have wings. They grow to be about the size of a tiger, but some can end up the size of a small car! Their tails are extremely fluffy and are used for balance in the air, though all that fur slows them down a bit. Most have very keen sight, as well as good hearing. Quell spend most of their time in the trees unless they are domesticated. They are omnivores and eat insects when they are small, and fish/berries when they are older.

Habitat:
Quell can live everywhere except the barren, frozen land of Antarctica, but they originated from the coasts of Japan. They are sometimes called "Japanese Sky Wolves", but were dubbed "Quell" after humans observed how they work in groups to drive schools of fish to the shallow waters to trap them.
A Quell will nest on the ground unless it has the option to nest in the trees. Quell nests are either holes dug into the ground with grass covering them, or branches woven together into a sort of "basket".
Behavior:
-They will nest in groups and protect others in the group against rogues.
-Groups of Quell are commonly called Flocks, but some use the term "droves".
-The ranks in a flock are as follows and are usually separated into specialized units: Alpha Male and Alpha Female, Flank-Quell (basically the Alphas' guards), Second in Command, Guarding, Hunting, Border Control, Healing, Prison-Keeping and Prisoners, Kits, and Elders.
-They are very protective of their Flock and will expel troublemakers from it. These then become rogues.
Diet:
-Fish
-Berries
-Insects
-Small mammals (if they can find any)
Rarities:
Common- Common Quell tend to have more natural colors, same-color eyes, and a lack of mutations.
Uncommon- Uncommon Quell tend to have natural colors mixed with some unnatural colors, bi-colored eyes, and a small amount of mutations.
Rare- Rare Quell tend to have unnatural colors and mutations.
All artists must state Quell rarity upon creating a Quell.
