IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

First, this darling boy is now UFA:

For a simple gif contest! C'mon, I can get at least one entry, right? ;3

Second, I'm thinking about re-doing the lines. I know they've only been up for a few months, but I'm honestly rethinking how I wanna do this. Artists don't seem as involved as when I tried hosting the first thing, and I'm just busy. So I might just turn this species into a "Shin makes a cute Hallow whenever they want to" until the summer. And then I can talk about making them a whole species and irritating people to submit designs more often.
But right now the most important thing is: Should I re-make the lines since I now have pen pressure? There's a marked improvement in my art because of it, and I think they might be better because of that. Maybe not. Maybe people could offer more ideas for hair edits, or just do them themselves and have a default hair type. I don't know! Offer suggestions, ideas, idk what! Go for it! Tell me what you think, please!

Was nice stopping by in the stream the other day. If you feel it would make a big difference to re-do the lines, then def go for it. However, your lines you have already are very cute, clean, and in my opinion well done.

Hair edits though, I'm SO in for hair edits. I might be able to throw some ideas with you when it's not the middle of the night. Looking forward to more

Y'all are still perfectly allowed to make Hallows! I'm just not going to worry about how many I make anymore. I will also no longer bother the added artists to make Hallows - if they want to they can, if they don't or don't remember then they just won't make any. Just gonna relax and make this fun for me! I'm sick of worrying and pressuring people - its silly and it obviously doesn't work.
So I'm just gonna make as many Hallows as I want, in whatever colors and fun stuff I want, and if I'm the summer I feel like it again, I might try to do "official artists". Right now it just seems silly. But please, make as many as you want as well - just throw me a screenshot of it before posting if you're worried it won't pass :3

LET ME REPHRASE.

I am no longer going to:

• Bother artists to create Hallows.
• Worry about creating too many myself.

This doesn't mean it's no longer a species. I'm still going to

• Enforce all rules associated with Hallows.
• Keep them as a species with rules.
• Keep all species traits the same as they were.

I'm just going to make them as I want to. I and all artists still have to follow the rules of all Hallows, the bright skin, the (now) butt stripes marking, the treasure rules.. I'm just not going to run this with "official artists" and big name stuff and an archive and a fan club… since no one who was assigned to made those or got back to me about making them… it's obvious no one wants to. So I'm just going to have fun - me, the owner, I'm going to have fun. I'm happy to let others create Hallows if they want! But I'm not going to force anyone to anymore.
In the beginning of the summer, when I get my apartment and get settled in, I'm going to ask about serious artists only. People who will actually make a Hallow every week or two weeks, who can make one or two at a time, who aren't going to disappear or just plain not even answer when I PM them. Ask for people with Skype so I can contact them whenever I need to, and make sure I can run these guys properly. I don't have the time to devote to being an admin right now, as sad as that makes me.
