What Are The Novae?
The Eternal Novae are wolf like beings, with wings and long tails. Each Nova dedicates itself to protecting it's own part of the universe, guarding it from the evils that lurk in space. The Novae will bond with a human they deem worthy, and the two will become best friends, travelling the universe together.
What Sets The Novae Apart?
Each fully mature Nova receives their Planetary Objects on their Day of Dedication. These Objects are hung from strings and tied onto the Nova's wings. These signify that the Nova is ready to be on it's own. The Nova will then choose a planet or series of planets (Depending on it's ability) to guard. The Nova also takes a part of it's galaxy and brings it into itself, to allow it to always know how to get back to it's home.
Novae Characteristics
Appearance
The Novae all have the physical appearance of a very large wolf, with wings and extra long tails. They are the size of a fully grown horse. The common Novae has regular feather wings, and a long tapered tail, however there are some variations which I will explain soon. Each Fully grown Novae also has their Planetary Objects, as explained before.

Novae Retiring
Novae do not generally retire, however, if their human no longer wants them, or has no more need for them, they may "retire" and become obsolete.

(I may add more details later.)
