Jengal Adoptable ~ Main thread
~What is a Jengal?~
A Jengal is a small monkey like creature. They climb trees in the forests of Syriah, and roar like a baby lion cub. They climb through the trees with ease, their tail, that is the same length as their body, helping them balance.
~Physical appearances~
Jengals have a feather headdress that meets into one long strip of feathers that ends in a ruffle of them on the tip of their tail. They have three fingers on each of their paws and the fingers can move in any direction. Their sharp beaks are for catching food in the rain forest. Their eyes can see in the dark and they love to play hide and go seek in the dark. The males always have three head spikes and the females just have more feathers.
~Diet~
The Jengal's diet is mostly fruit and nuts, but if those are scarce, they fish in the river that flows though the rain forest in many places. They pick berries and shell nuts using their sharp beaks.
~How they live~
Jengals live in groups called troops and these each contain about 15 Jengals. They each have a chief of the tribe and the chief passes leadership to their eldest offspring. they love to chat and squeal as loud as they can with and at each other. They have an annual celebration called the Spring Harvest in which they collect all the kinds of fruit in the rain forest and discover new fruits.
