What is a Karakema (Care-ah-key-mah)?
A fox or wolf like creature that is slim, and built for speed. They have skinny legs, and usually can outrun other creatures. Their tails are long and skinny, and even though they are curled up here, they can unwind to attack. The have long ears the flop around unless threatened, that pick up warmth, or the beating of a heart, instead of normal noises, which suggests their deaf. Karakema use powers that are elements, or things such as speed and other powers to boost their normal abilities. The power symbols are located on their left shoulder, and are always unique, even if other Karakema have the power. They are neutral, so they wont attack unless they are threatened or attacked, and even then it depends on their personality and power. But when they attack back, their fur fluffs up to look like they increase size, their ears point back, and the snarl. While attacking, they can use their powers from their mouth, paws, or sometimes eyes, ears, or nose, depending on their power. They can also use their tail, which they can use for both lashing out at their attackers, or as a last result power that drains their energy, but is very strong. They do this by stretching their tail out so their are only two bends, then creating an orb or their power, and hurling it towards their opponent. They are a little smaller then a fox, and do not have very much fur.
Why are their tails like that?
If there were fur on their tails, it would burn off in the creation of the power orb.
What are their habitats?
Deserts, and tropical rain forests.
What is their relationship with humans?
They make good pets, but do require average maintenance. They can also be house trained like a cat.
What do they eat?
They eat fruit, small animals, and sometimes things like lettuce.
Are there packs, or do they go alone?
Sometimes they group into packs, but usually only to hunt, and then they split apart again. So, they are usually loners, but very rarely you can come across a pack of them that isn't just for hunting. Stormpack is what one of those is called, and a Karakema who has a power that connects to a storm is given a chance to join.
