What is a Skyhorse?
Skyhorses are crosses between dragons and seahorses. The dragon genes are most evident in the horns and whiskers, but save for that it is mainly similar to the appearance of the seahorse. They are carnivores, and hunt mainly at night. Females are normally about the same size as males, but males have longer tails and a small fin at the tip of the tail used both for attracting mates and fighting off competition.
Skyhorses can be any color, but they are normally very natural colors, such as green and brown. Purple and pink are very rare colors, and are normally never seen in skyhorses. There are no definite patterns or markings to these creatures, but they can end up with scales depending on how much of the dragon genes show through.

Here are some general rules for the thread so that we can prevent trouble.
1. Please be kind and respectful to the staff and fellow adopters of the species on the thread. Try not to argue at all, and please take it to PM if you find it necessary to discuss a certain topic further.
2. Please do not ask to join the staff when no positions are open. I will post when applications for artists, guest artists, and other positions are available to you. Forms will normally be available if i have staff openings.
3. (For GAs and artists only) Please clear all line edits or changes with me before they are posted. I would like to know if you guys plan on changing anything in case it's a gender-specific trait already.
4. (Also for artists) Don't remove my signature. Period.

Guest Artists will be taken on for a month long period of time designing for the species. There are none at the moment, but I am currently accepting applications with the following form. If i like the art you produce, I may make you a permanent artist.
