To the Flying Friskers Adoption Center! Flying Friskers are cat-like creatures that come in every color (not every shape, since they are cat-like after all ^^) and are very friendly, if they know that you're safe.
Flying Friskers can sense if you can be trusted or not, which makes them a great choice for pets. Unless, of course, you're untrustworthy, which i doubt. They have three stages: Kit, Half-Grown, and Full-Grown.
Kits are about as large as a tissue box and are in their first stage until they are 8 moons old. They have wings, but are almost as transparent and resemble feathers. A fairy or imp-elf type guardian (fairies for she-kits, imp-elves for toms) the same color as the kit's eyes, find them as soon as their eyes are open. Kits are very lively and some, although in most cases it's not permanent, can change color at will to match their surroundings.
Half-Growns have wings that are in between feathers and the full-grown chibi wings. They learn how to fly at this age (10 moons to 18 moons) and their wings are translucent. They also form their true color (if they aren't the color-changers) as Half-Growns and start to learn how to fly.
Full-Growns form their full wings at 18 moons and have extremely long lives (some live up to 100 moons!); they know what type of Friskers they are (jeweled, plain, two-tone, two color, collared, starburst, ect. ). They are mates for life and Frisker families have very strong bonds, not only with each other, but with their guardians as well. Their sizes can range from the size of a domestic cat to that of a lion.
Flying Friskers live in the most remote parts in the world, the unmapped forests and islands, the highest, most hardest to reach caves and mountains, and even the deepest abysses underwater. They are very shy and will camoflauge themselves as a type of cat if confronted with a suspicious character.
Guardians find their companions early on and form very strong bonds with them. They stick together through thick and thin and are usually best friends. The exception, of course, is if either Frisker or guardian falls*.
