This species was inspired by "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons.

New Age Dragons were discovered by an explorer in South America. These amazing creatures were a marvel but after careful studying people realized they had the intelligence and train ability of a dog. They quickly bonded to the people studying them, and after no time they were allowing people to ride on them. There overall body and movement is so close to a horse that they are easily ridden and have the same gaits. They have a very similar diet to dogs and easily are fed a kibble type feed the same way you would a horse but with more protein. After they were discovered their popularity soared beyond belief and now shows and breeding for private purposes is popping up everywhere. Lifespan is between 30-40 and height is 15-16 hh however exceptions are not uncommon. A person can own up to 8 New Age Dragons due to the laws and regulations.

When a new age dragon is born, it has its own set of skills which will help determine suggested discipline for competing. A New Age has a score between 1-15 in the following categories
Conformation
Speed
Endurance
Agility
Accuracy
These scores are influenced by breeding but the more shows a New Age wins, its numbers for that competition will go up. For example, if you have a race New Age and it wins again and again its score could raise in speed and endurance.

It is based off of real horse genetics and we use this generator ~Here~
Of course play around with it to help predict your offspring (I obviously do not own the generator lol)

To do gray colors put the base color in and then check "grey". Not sure the base color?
Here is the list of gray colors and their bases (not done by me, exerted from horseisle 2 life cycle genetics)

White gray = base bay
Porcelain gray = base seal brown
Light gray = base seal brown
Fleabitten gray = base bay
Light dapple gray = base seal brown
Dapple gray = base brown
Dark dapple gray = base black
Dark gray = base black
Iron gray = base black
Steel gray = base black
Gray = base brown
Dapple rose gray = base chestnut
Brindle gray = base brown

Shows are based on 2 things
-Stats
-Tack

Matching and correct tack for the discipline will boost your potentials. Also the better and more rounded your stats the more disciplines you can compete in if you wish.

Dressage is based on these stats
-Accuracy
-conformation

in order to do Dressage you MUST have a black dreassage bridle and saddle and a white dressage pad.


[center]Show Jumping is based on these stats
-Agility
-Accuracy
-Speed

in order to do Show Jumping you MUST have a flash nose band bridle with a preferable matching colored saddle, and a jumping saddle pad. In order to safetly compete boots are HIGHLY suggested, if your New Age is not wearing the boots there is a chance of injury and that causes stats to go DOWN.


Racing is based on these stats
-Speed
-Endurance

in order to race you must own at least a flash nose band bridle, racing saddle and pad. Optional shadow roll and racing mask are encouraged.

western pleasure is based on these stats
-Conformation
-Accuracy

in order to compet in wp you must own a western saddle, saddle pad, bridle.

in order to show you must own a halter of any color
