These guys are fairly new and were created by the lovely,Dau.Fox,but given to me to continue on with them ^^
information wrote:Elusive by nature and curious as a species whole,the Greenland Burrowing Marten is from the family Mustelidea,growing up to the size of two housecats and weighing up to 20 lbs.Larger than the common pine marten,these guys have evolved to adapt to the rougher climate.They are carnivorous and prey mainly on small creatures,puffins,and fish but when those are scare they will also diet on insects.They've got flat paws with shovel-like claws (five in the front,four in the back) to dig through terrain,hence their name.The GBMs burrow in the snow to escape winds,build underground tunnels,and search through burrows in search of rodents.
There is not much sexual dimorphism,other than that the males have a pair of venomous spurs on their hind legs and are slightly larger than the females.GMBs have a very varied natural color range and pattern including eye color(which is usually bright and unnatural),but one thing that they all share in common is that they have lighter underbellies and tail tip.They mate for life,females can't breed more than once a month,and they have litters of no more than four.If threatened,they'll fluff out their tail,open their mouths baring their fangs and make some sort of hissing noise to scare away intruders.Otherwise GMBs are peaceful,energetic creatures.

.I'm accepting three guest artists,first come first serve and you are allowed to make three each,and since these guys are new I'll even allow you to make one custom for yourself(counts as one of the three).I'll have to make sure the design is acceptable before it officially goes up for adoption though(: If I like the designs enough I may let you be a full time artist,but only if you'd like to be ^^
