Gentle Teacups' get their name from how small they are, and how sweet and gentle they are towards others.
Most of the time the average lifespan is around the mid 20 to 50 year mark, lucky ones will get to live about 10 or 20+ years than the average if they are treated to a correct standard. The species of course is mammal, and with that they have only 1 or at rare cases; they may even have 2 (twin) kits at once.
The Teacups have been in a pure bloodline of a bobbed tail animal mixed with a reptile, we can't get exact information from which we can't get; further notices will be contained in this paragraph :3
They seem to be a healthy breed of species, but just one problem, the syndrome Teacup ( TEE-cup ) is going around..In which your Gentle Teacup stays absolutely the same in between a Young Kit and Newborn. And although these beauties are downright fun to play with they are slow when walking and have a stumpy tail, which causes them to loose direction; no, it doesn't hurt them but they seem to love it if they're lazy.
Ribbons or marbles MUST be kept with them at all times, because if these little ones get into trouble you won't be able to fin them! Now we don't want that, now do we?
Newborn
As you can see the kit will only be about 2 months before he\she earns it's eyes sight, hearing, stability, and hearing. Until that time period they are completely helpless and need their mothers for everything, as the fur is not fully developed yet and is still growing, the mother uses her own body heat to allow the kits to have warm when they snuggle close to the mother. If the mother is not present, the father might be in subbing for the day(s) that the mother is not around to help.
But with the height and weight the babies are small enough to where they can fit into your palm(s); but be warned, at this period the mother is extremely protective and will bite if needed ( They rarely bite from their soft teeth and gums )
Young Kit
This is about the time when the Kit will learn how to hunt for berries and be taught manners, the mother may let you interact with the kits but since they're still getting use to all the new world they have to explore, it's best you still leave them alone and only approach if needed. The Kits are indeed rough-housing and play-fighting at this time in their life; in which they'll be very energetic. They've grown, oh my! They look to be about as tall enough to bite your ankles! My my!
Teenager
Time had flown past the finish line hasn't it? Well, the teens seem to be more quiet but still a little playful. They seem to tend to themselves and are fully approachable now that they learn how to defend themselves against an attack or ambush, and since they have gotten slightly bigger ( They'll stay the size they are in teenage years, which by now they're up to your knees )
Adult
Ah, no more worries right? Although it is a bummer without little babies around the house, tearing everything up? Yeah, by now they're fully grown and very calm, they seem to mostly lie around the house and help themselves to your fruit cab nits.
And hey, by this time they can eat just about anything ( As long as it's not meat or anything metal\, plastic etc etc ) So you don't have to go out and buy food for them almost every week! Oh goodness they stayed the same size as a teen, now worries, it's normal for them to stay the same size or grow c:
The basic rules are very simple, follow them and you'll have a great time here!
