History
The Origin of the Name for this Species is unkown, but scientists are guessing, that they are called Ancient Owl Guardians because of the Owl like Face, Wings and Feets. The First AOG was seen around 1857 on a trip of an explorer through the Black Forest in Germany. On this Trip, the explorer lost two of his comrades, but he is not sure, if they just 'lost' them, or if that mysterious Creature attacked them. To the relief of all, the Creature was guiding the two lost comrades back to the explorer, but then it vanished. After that, a few years later they found this 'Owls' in the whole European countrys, but very strong in Germany, England and Norway.
It is not known, if this Species is related to the Owls directly because no scientist has ever had a AOG in the lab, so they can only guess it. Normaly, die 'Owls' are very shy creatures, but if they see a threat for the environment they are living in, they can be very protective.

- Female and Male look the same, but normaly, Males have 'cold' eye colors

Adoption
Every Ancient Owl with an 'Adopt me' Sign can be adopted. But be careful - Not every Owl with an sign is for Adoption. It might be closed for Forms, or the artist may have not removed the sign yet. Make sure you check the first post as well as the last few posts, to check that it hasn’t been won yet, or isn’t closed for judging.
Please don’t change the form on an Owl in any way – this includes ‘prettifying’ forms, and adding extra things to the form. If you do so, your form will be ignored. Correct forms have correct bolding tags, and the answer to the question is on the same line as the subheading. Correct forms are not centered, coloured or use any fancy fonts unless already in the original form.
Breeding
The Breedings are not yet avilable, because there are not enough Owls.
Rules
- You are not allowed to create your own Owl or claim the species as your own.
- Please, try not spam this thread.
- Do not ask how to adopt, it is clearly stated here.
- An Owl can only mate with another Owl of the opposite gender.
- You are not allowed to use your Owl in a non-official RP.
- You can only have a maximum of 6 Owls, unless you have permission to have more.
- Do NOT beg or ask for a custom! Bribes don’t work, either. It will only get you a warning.
- You are not allowed to request certain colourings, and you are not allowed to pressure artists to open breedings or create more Owls.
- No making copies or similar species. If you have a species and are worried that it is too similar, please PM me if you want it approved.
