About Saboras
- Saboras are large wild cats that live on the rocky mountain terrains far from civilization. In other sightings, they have been spotted in tropical jungles, or the african plains. Few humans have ever seen the majestic beasts, and no one has every captured their rare beauty on a recording or photograph. Several people try to photoshop different wild cats together and pretend that they had taken a picture of one of the animals, but scientists easily discovered their lies. Several scientists have tried to breed animals together to make a sabora, but none of the offspring had their intelligence. Some scientists believe that they are real, but most think that they are just a hoax.
Intelligence & strength are their main abilities. They are said to be smarter than humans, although they are a bit tribal. Along with decorating their dens they also decorate themselves. Expecially females. Females wear jewelry such as feathers tied around their tails or near their ear. They also wear beaded braclets around their tail or necklaces. Females are required to have at least one painted marking on them. For females with mates their mate will dip their paw in berry juice and press it onto thier flank, leaving a paw print marking. Most females have 3 stripes of their color. Every sabora has a band around their tail of their color, every sabora gets the band once they reach maturity or their teenage stage. This is a big deal, especially when it's for one of the royals. The band's color represents their personality or skill. Such as the king's gold band means that he is brave and loyal. The queen's light blue band means that she is caring and forgiving. Usually, along with the band, males will have a strip of hair that color, and one of their mates color.
Saboras live either alone, with their mate and cubs, or in a small group. There is only one known larger group of saboras. In prides of sabora, there is a king and a queen. Their offspring will become the new leaders, and their mates. The lighter she-cat in the front is the queen, ____. Behind her is her mate, and the king, _____. Other than the healer, there are no other ranks. The healer lives in a rock cave, the walls painted with berry juices. The saboras are known for decorating their dens. They decorate them with seashells, sparkling pebbles, flowers, and 'paint'.
Saboras hunt in packs, if they live solitary, they usually scavenge for food. Saboras prey on large game such as deer, moose, or elk. If they live by water they will catch large fish. Saboras breed all year around, typically in the fall. They can have up to four cubs in a litter.
