You flip to the next page, and begin reading how to care for DC's
These little DC's need the proper care to stay healthy and happy! They eat only burning food, or food that has been burnt and is still very warm. The reason, is because before they were domesticated, these little thngs lived right by a volcano, and ate special food called embers. They were regular-looking prey, but they had the heat of fire. These little DC's got so used to that, eating anything room temperature or below will kill them.
For excersise, DC's get it themselves. They are fairly well-behaved, and they always come back home, so you can just let them out by themselves, and when they're tired, they'll come back.
They can't eat cold food, but DC's need ice cold water, and about 2 cups of it everyday. The reason for this is they have a fire in their stomachs, keeping them extremely warm on the inside, and the fur keeps them moderate on the outside. They used to live in extremely warm heats, so they get used to the heat of the fire, but without enough icy water each day, the fires will grow and over-heat these little cats.
They need half the day to sleep, or else DC's become very moody. They will go to bed whenever they please, and waking them up will result in being bitten by the cat. They love sleep, so let them have it.
They will tell you what they need through actions, whether biting air, acting dehydrated, jumping on random things, or biting. Whenever you see one of these signs, it's a good idea to get them what they desire.
DC's like respect, and lots of it. It is advised that you give them whatever they please, as they only want necessities. If they don't receive the proper respect, they become annoyed, and become very disobediant. It is hard to get a DC to behave once it has become disobeidant, so it is advised that you respect them.
