Background story: Aussie was born in the pound, where her mother had been taken in after she had been abandoned. When she was 2 months old, and no longer depended on her mother, she was helped to escape a life behind bars, always wanting an owner, always being left in the crate. After escaping she learnt about being a stray in the city and has spent all of her life, up until now as a stray wondering along the streets, doing what she can to survive.
