Walrus Adopts: The history
A while ago, I had made a walrus adoptable thread. On that thread, you could adopt an adorable walrus for free. It went well for a while, but soon people began to beg for new walruses. I was having trouble keeping up with them, so sadly had to close down the thread.
Recently, I have remembered the walrus adoptables, and have decided to reopen the shop! I changed the lines a little, fixing up any rough or unattractive spots. I modified the rules, and will hire artists. The walrus adoptables WILL survive this time!
The Adoption Vow
When you adopt a walrus, you must agree to all of the following:
1) You will not modify the walrus or code in any way, including cropping.
2) You walrus will remain on CS unless you have written, personal permission from the artist.
3) Do not ask for commissions if commissions are closed.
4) Put effort into your entry when trying to adopt a walrus.
5) Don't complain about anything.
6) IF YOU DON'T WIN THE WALRUS, DON'T TAKE IT!
How Adoption Works
I rarely do commissions. This just stresses me out, and I never get around to them. :<
Walruses will always be pre-made. If you are interested in adopting a walrus, look at the thumbnails on the adoption list. Click on one you like to try to get it. On that walrus's thread, there will be a contest. It can be an art contest, writing contest, or whatever the artist chooses. Enter the contest, and if you win, you get the walrus.
Hiring Artists
Artists will not be payed, sorry. But it is very fun to be an artist, and if you are interested in working an adoption shop, but don't want to get too involved, then this is great!
