Usalar are creatures created by Alka Rin Kometi, a twelve year old human with a tail, on January 3rd of the year 2009. The first Usalar, Kux, was originally the family Saint Bernard, who Alka didn't really get along with. The purpose of an Usalar is, to put it simply, to play fetch. They do everything from preforming search and rescue, to retrieving important items and information, to carrying out reconnaissance missions. If something needs found, they are the animals to call upon, though, if specially trained, a few may have other uses.Milkshake
Color System
Usalar run on the same dot system as Nex's Tracker Dog's.
A green dot means that it revolves around a small contest.
A red dot means that the most creative and thought out form will win.
No dot means the design is taken.
A black dot means it's a custom made design.

+1+ Scanner: sweeps the area and both video tapes and images memories of the surrounding territory. The creature does not see through this, it only stores things in its memory for later retreival and cannot access the information untill a minimum of 5 minutes has passed since the scan to give their brain the chance to analyze the data. To these creatures analyzing a scan is like breathing and most of the time they forget that they are even doing so.
+2+ Optics: They have no true eyes, at least not the way humans and most other creatures do. They have no pupils and they're eyes are normally consiting of colored fiberglass orbs covering the optice sensors, which relay information to the brain for instant analysis, and thus, sight. The fiberglass is like tinted windows, they can see out, but you cannot see in.
+3+ Hearing: These creatures rely mostly on sight and scans, though large ears generally mean good hearing. They do, in fact, have good hearing, but that is only part of their size factor. Their large, furry ears also double as hubs for the optics, and contain more than twice as many sensory nerves than even a large rabbit's ear possesses. they can turn 160 degrees in either direction, allowing the creature a wide range of vision and hearing, and can turn either ear in different directions than the other.
+4+ Hands: They have two hands situated on the arms, very similar to a human hand, only furry. All of these creatures not only have opposable thumbs, but their thumbs, fingers, and elbows are also double jointed (it is unusual for one of the mentioned joints to not be double jointed).
+5+ Tail: These creatures have very strong, whip like tails. As stated in 6, the rest of the body is quite furry, though the tail has short, velvety fur. It is capable of constricting someone like a snake and cracking like a whip as well as gently picking up any fairly delicate objects.
+6+ Pelt: They are very furry, though their fur is merely long, not necessarily thick, which prevents them from getting overheated. If an owner takes proper care of the creature, its fur can become quite soft, otherwise it is ussually wirey.
++In adult hood, they generally stand about 26-28 inches tall, anything below that is unusual.
++They have a stocky build, made for endurance and strength.
++They have four legs and two smaller arms situated in front of the forelegs.
++Their IQ is significantly larger than a human’s, though most of it is used for analysis’s (sp?). They tend to stick to orders, though are capable of making their own decisions.
++While they do have their own "language", if you would call it such (A series of grunts, howls, growls, squeaks, and meow-like yowls (More like "Meeyaaaaah"), they tend to cummunicate through movements.
++They are very loyal creatures and will carry out orders to the death
++They are predicted to have a life span of 50-60 years on average, though they believe that, if well cared for, an USalaR might live untill 70, 80, or even 90 years old.
++Young USalaR are called Urslings, there are generally one to two urslings in a litter, maybe three on rare ocassion. Female USalaR can breed up to twice, then it becomes dangerous to breed and the mother and/or Urslings may suffer from it. Male USalaR are predicted to be able to breed as much as their owner wants untill they reach around 35 years of age.
