For those who don’t know G.L.S.A stands for the Gay, Lesbian, Straight, Alliance. My best friend has a girl friend and I love them both like crazy there absolutely adorable together and for someone to tell them that the love they share isn’t real I believe is horribly wrong. So heres a place for you guys to talk with eachother and be safe.
Little bit of history. Back in the early 1900s being gay was considered a mental illness and to be gay was considered a crime and morally wrong. People were put in for treatments that involved a person being sat in a room and shown pictures of the same gender, and then given a strong electrical current shock so they were forced to find the same gender unattractive.
People have been killed because of the fact that they were gay. Some have been deliberate killings while some people. Adults and kids alike have also been bullied and picked on to the point where they couldn’t stand it anymore and take there own lives.
So this is a form to show those people who may be gay, bisexual or lesbian or even thinking you might be, that your still loved you still have friends and support. You aren’t alone you’ll always have support.

Lastly I would just like to say this.
I am a proud member of my schools G.L.S.A. group. I support the life choices of my best friend and her girl friend, as well as my Aunt and her partner. I am the S in G.L.S.A being gay is not a mental illness it is a way of life that many live and many support.
