For one day? But understandable. Sigh. I feel useless at time.

I don't really think Chicken smoothie would be greatly effected.. Considering there things are original. it just if this thing really gets out of control.. That is what I am worried about.

Actually the way google has it.. Just put a black box over the site's logo/bannar

There are no pets that represent pokemon.

What I don't get is how they'll do this. Would we be banned from putting things from this site on other sites? Would we be banned from drawing, say, pokemon on the oeikaki?
I know how it works, I just don't know how far it will go.
so I haven't been on this site in like, forever, so I'm briefly back on to get rid of lots of my pets in exchange for art of my dog. Also if you do art and want pets send me a pm I'd love to work something out
You can contact me on my tumblr - @puppiesfortheblind - if I don't respond in a reasonable timeframe

There's not telling how far it will go. I think that is what most of the companies fear. How far will this go? I mean in all honestly, this could in a way be reason to close down the whole internet. If they want to take it that far. The question is. Do we really want them to have that much power?

Quoting myself.

Am I the only one NOT panicking over SOPA and thinking the mass hysteria is completely ridiculous and blown out of proportion?

How many of you have pirated something? An art program? A video game? Illegally downloaded music? I really don't think I need to go into detail why that's hilarious.

I'm more getting fed up with sites blacking out their sites or fully taking them down. It's forcing the webmaster's political views on their users and that's a crappy thing to do to them. Write a Tumblr post or tweet or something, but don't throw your users under the bus to make a point.

That being said, I'm not blacking out my forum. I'm not going to force politics on the users because that simply isn't fair to them. They got a brain and fingers that can type, if they care about SOPA there are plenty of sites out there that will tell them how to make a stand. Mine won't be one of them.

It may like seem to be just piracy. But if that quote is specifically yours *I have no idea where you go it from, says it yours* Technically using rainbow dash could get you in trouble as well. As for sites. If you noticed Google just covered their name. It is really a representation. Closing a site completely down, would be wasteful and wrong. There can be all kinds of drawbacks to this. In a way they'll have access to a lot of things. Things that most of us enjoy and such, as well as controlling what we see and not see. Not to mention they could possibly sue every last person in the world that has saved or used photos/ideas that are not theirs. In a way. It'll screw and bump up the economy. I am probably wrong on a few things. I don't exactly have the exact document in my hands. But that is pretty much the gist of what I am getting. Though there is always loopholes and people can tell you what you want to hear.
