Aichnophobia. I'm afraid of corners and sharp objects pointed toward me.
If I'm near a corner, I just move away and get someone else to cover or move it.

A phobia is different from just being afraid of something, just like most little children are afraid of the dark a phobia is an actual codition that can seriously affect people. It's medical.

I for one have a diagnosed phobia, I have Aeroacrophobia; a phobia of high, open places. Ever since I was little I've been so afraid of it.

My "friend" didn't believe me, she lives in a large apartment building. So she thought she'd surprise me by taking me to the very top, the wide open roof, 24th floor. I shudder as I type, I literally had a panic attack when the elevator opened. I clung to the elevator wall rail and whimpered, crying in a corner like a little kid. It was already close to the edge railing so she finally caved and took me back down. Took me a while to calm down though. ^^"

I'm also afraid of talking about spines, and just spines in general. They make me feel faint and want to puke, but I ususally have breakdowns if someone starts talking about them.

I am actually so scared of little razors and scalpels that I once fainted when I saw someone I dislike holding one. And yet I love big blades such as chainsaws, swords and axes.

I have a fear of pencils.
It seems pathetic, but I just don't like them.
And I tried to find what the fear /phobia of pencils is and I found a website on phobias and I asked what the phobia of pencils is called.. the answer:
"No one is afraid of pencils."

I have this too. I seem to be one of the, say, four people who have it? It irks me to no end when people say there's no such thing as a phobia of pencils.
I believe I've heard that it's called "Molybiphobia", but I dunno. I've also heard it called "Pencilophobia", but that is obviously incorrect, as anything connecting to the "--phobia" should be Greek or Latin(shouldn't even be Latin, but naturally that's hard to avoid), and I don't really think "pencil" is Greek or Latin. I'd put my money on Molybiphobia, I guess.

Anyway... I don't know why, but I just absolutely cannot stand pencils. It's odd, because I'm fine with pens, mechanical pencils, and coloured pencils(?!), but as for regular pencils..... I just don't know. Maybe it has something to do with that ear-bleeding scratchy noise pencils make when in use. That sound is enough to make me want to tear my ears off and hide in my closet.
