As far as I know, Shadows are Corrupted SA's, the only reason I say that is because I helped a stag from the Shadows and the corruption. he thanked me briefly and left.

I would like some help. For awhile I kept thinking my sa was a tiger or leopard of some sort, but I think I'm wrong. I'm in a quiet room, and et I still see blackness. I feel like my mind is trying to project a scene, but it's all what I want and it's not naturL. I'm calm, and I have spent at least ten minutes meditating. I have tried everything yet I still see either black ess or things my mind is letting me make. I would like some help, thanks!

Your SP doesn't have to be a natural environment, it can be man-made too! Think of a calming place, a place you feel safe. it can be anything. :) let me know if this helps.

There is such a thing as a life-long totem. We have about... one or two lifelong totems. The rest can be around for twenty years, two hours, or any amount of time you pleae.

In some societies/cultures, spirit animals and totems are akin or equal/mean the same thing.

In some societies totems and SA's are equal, or there is no difference.

Totems (assuming that SA's and totems are different) are animals (well, the spirit of the animal) that you call upon for lessons or guidance.

For example, boars will run and attack anything in it's sight that might harm it's young. So, interpret that into a more humanistic way, and you could safetly say, "Doesn't mind speaking it's own opinion" and "courage". Say you need to attend a debate and you need to present evidence, but you're just not that great at speaking or voicing your opinion (at all or "forcefully" enough). Well, call upon the [spirit of the] boar, and it's likely that you'll remember the boar's characteristic courage and persistince, or the sirit of the animal will help you during the debate.

That's it in a cold cut. There's a bit more to it, but that's basically the idea.

(@fly) even then, please. (I don't even know what that word means...) I learned that totems are there for a part of your life to help you overcome something. like spiders! XD I had arachnophobia once, and there were spiders EVERYWHERE!!! >.< I killed one, and they all left. so at that point in time, my totem might have been a spider.

I would like some help. I found peace, but I feel likenits all fake and I'm projecting what's going on. I keep meeting a plain white tiger with black strips on it's neck, but it can't be that cause just today I was looking up animals and saw the same species (stripless white tiger) I feel like it's jus putting in wha animal is going on with my life. Any help?

Don't think about your animal, just the area, your animal will come to you. the first thing I thought I'd see was a Maned wolf, that's my fave animal, but instead, Ryuunan came. and I STILL have no idea what she is... =.=
