Well, I doubt you'd feel safe in a dark alleyway inhabited by drug-selling gangsters.

Sarcasm aside, if you feel safe in a lot of places, then just make your own private space in the spirit realm.

i cant find my SA i know it takes time but i have a really active imagination and i try to imagine myself in the forest but my mind shows me so many differnt animals most of them were in the canine family but a few were in the feline family and once it showed me a bear but that quickly dissapeerd too

Then that probably means you've a shape-shifter as a SA...before i met my 14 SAs, i had so many dreams and visitons of every-single kind of animal out there...now they just take form of the wolf, currently my favorite animal..

Go into the spirit realm expecting no animals. That's the only way you'll know for sure it's your guide.

I don't think you would have a spirit animal that shape shifts...

All of my SAs can shape-shift...for example: Ice is normally a wolf, but just today she turned into a pure white egyptian cat (is that even possible to have a white egyptian?) when it was snowing...

You can't have a shape shifter SA, otherwise it completely ruins the whole point of having an SA. An SA is one animal, and stays as one animal. You might be thinking of animal totems, they come and go as they please and can be any animal, you can have multiple of these at the same time. You can't exactly have multiple SAs, that's like having multiple of yourself ^^. Also, SAs are very rarely your favourite animal. I've never really liked foxes as one killed my rabbits, but hey ho whatddayouknow, I have a red fox as my SA :3
