Account Merging?

I saw someone saying they were 'account merging.'
I was wondering, is this possible? If so, (mods, this is for you) I have an account from before. I'd forgotten the password, but keeping both this account and the old one seems like 'cheating' but I'd like to keep my old accounts' pets... am I allowed to 'account merge and continue to use this account?

Account merging is when to members merge into one account. For example, if you and I wanted to have one account together we would choose one account to use. If we chose my account, we would get permission from Tess and then transfer your pets to my account. Then I would give you the login information. A popular merged account is Tif + Jo. Two different people but they use the same account.

You might want to read the Merging Accounts FAQ for more information on merging accounts. As -Jay said, merging accounts is when two people both use one account to access Chickensmoothie (like Tigress and I or Tif and Jo).
There is no way you'll be able to keep both accounts, so if you forgot your old password, just log out and click the "forgot password" button; you'll be sent a temporary password you can use to log in and then change your password to one you can remember. I suggest writing down your password once you have it set so you won't forget again.
