Meeting Claude Giroux, my favorite athlete, was one of my favorite moments that occurred in my life. Even though the conversation with him was brief, it was still amazing. I recieved a autographed jersey from him plus the lifelong memory of meeting him.

Sometimes athletes become “snotty” and conceited. Giroux was the opposite. He is genuinely a nice guy— not much more you can ask for.
