I'm such a loner. For about six months of my life my best internet friend was much better than any friends I had in real life D:

Speaking of which I haven't spoken to them in an age because I've been buisy. And they also always comment really nice things on my dA but I can't tell if I'm actually improving etc or if they are just being nice 8I

Exactly! They teach us nothing about anything to deal with animals or the like anymore, and it's quite depressing.
My favorite would have to be either my state's 'cryptid' Lizard Man, or the Mexican Chubacabra.

My annoyance now; the fact that people probably have no idea what we're talking about. e.e

Oh, I hear ya. I think schools could really do with teaching cryptozoology and evolution. The thing is it doesn't agree with religion, but in my mind science and religion are two parts of the same coin, divided by a space so thin, yet thick enough that the two sides will still never meet. (I just referenced something, but I can't remember what it was. Damn.)

If we learn history, we should learn the history of the past as well as the future. Cryptozoology isn't absurd, no. What's absurd is that schools aren't teaching these concepts to students... Just take the platypus, for example. Thought it was a hoax, but it turned out to be real. I can tell you there are many other specie we have yet to discover, so why not teach it? The earth was flat, now it's round; there are many theories more far-fetched than cryptozoology.

And on evolution, it's the history of life on earth. It explains so much about how today's world came to be. These are things we need to be educated about. We should add these things to the curriculum, because think about it: If we don't ask questions and strive to learn and discover all we can, how will we ever move on? Humanity will come to a stopping point, with no possible way to move forward - and ohgawd I think I'm starting to ramble too much.

Me: No! Sleep is for those who have nothing better to do!
Mom: You sound crazy. I think you're tired.
