I'd love to have a fursona, but I just can't come up with a decent design. If I do get one, though, it's going to be a gryphon for sure.

Mine is a lemur. She actually didn't have a species when I designed her, when I finished her I was like, "Oh, well, she looks like a lemur." :lol:
when first i appear i seem mysterious
but when explained i'm nothing serious

Well, the animal I usually choose to represent me is a rat because I adore them as animals.

However, my actual fursona, the creature I appear as consistently in furry or nonmorphic form, is a beige housecat with brown siamese markings. This is because I think it matches most with my personality and appearance, being that I have olive skin and dark brown hair, and am a very arrogant, social and crafty individual.

I'm actually surprised at all of the rats on this thread. c; Don't get me wrong, I LOVE furry little creatures. I just didn't know that everyone else did, too. ^^' My fursona is a wallaby, a yellow footed rock wallaby specifically. c; I searched for a long time for a fursona that really represents me, and the wallaby seemed to. c: He's naturally colored, rather simple actually, but he's unique and I love him. I just NEED a human form for him now.. ;-; 8D

Mine is a wolf, in my signature. xD
But I'd like to change him to a ferret, if I find any decent anatomy tutorials for them.
He was once a mouse, for about a year, but I changed him back to canine.
He's been my fursona for 6 years ;w;

Mine is a cat with raccoon markings. She is different shades of blue and named Cyni, which is based off of the Russian word for blue.

I find it somewhat disturbing that "House cat" is in the poll, but wild cats aren't...

Monarchwing[I usually call her Monarch]: Ginger tabby she-cat with a black nose and one green eye and one brown. She has black toes on the front paws, and black socks on the back paws. A white muzzle reaches from her nose, to either side of her face, gently sloping downward. A white tail tip covers 1/3 of her rabbit length tail, and she has a black chest, belly, and ear tips. She is smaller than most cats, and has sleek, short fur. She also has the body build for a very fast runner. She can fit through tight spaces easily too. She is hyper, funny, silly, goofy, charming, nice, quick witted, smart, and gentle.

Most wildcats are a form of housecat, save for the sandcat and exotics. Ferals are all basically just housecats who live outdoors. I think 'big cats' generally is meant to apply to wildcats like ocelots, leopardcats, jaguarundi and fishing cats. What bothers ME is that big cats and housecats are kept separately when both are feline, and many times interchangeable in anthropomorphic felines.

My fursona used to be a wolf, then a made her a fox, and just recently I made him a female and a more unusual species,a red panda. I feel as if it is not only unique, but it fits me better. I get tired of seeing the same fursona species all the time, no offense to anyone. I just like the creativity that comes with having a unique fursona, and the challenge that also comes with the art.
