A Siggie Question

I know this post probably belongs somewhere else, or someone else might have even already answered it, but I'm kinda new right now and I'm wondering how to get an image onto your signature. It won't allow me to copy or paste anything onto the editing signature stuff and whenever I click img, alll i get are [img][img] or something like that. I know you are probably supposed to have an html code, but if you don't:
How do you get and image that is saved on your computer to your signature?

For the [img] thing, what you can do is out the copied picture in between the brackets. Example:
[Img] copied picture[img]
