Oh yeah.... the microwave. Mine is called "The Guilt Machine"
Long story.
Based on "The Long Dark Tea Time Of The Soul" Where a man saw that his refrigerator was getting really dirty. He put one of his own hairs on the seal of the door so he could see if his cleaning lady was opening the fridge to clean it. After several days of just buying enough food for the day and not using his fridge that was starting to reek, while checking for one of his hairs he found on of her hairs also on the seal. The two of them were projecting so much guilt of having the other open the fridge that guilt was being projected into the fridge. And thus the Norse god of guilt was born in the refrigerator.
When I was in Japan, I had told my boyfriend that I was afraid to bring the microwave up the stairs in my Japanese house. Not only are they much steeper, they are uneven. I was afraid of falling backwards as I carried it up the stairs. He was visiting me in a few weeks so he bravely volunteered himself for the task. After only two days I got tired of not having a microwave, but when he asked about it, I just smiled and said that it was still downstairs. One day while I was talking to him, I put my headset down and inadvertently left the mic open. When I got back, my boyfriend was clearly upset about hearing 'beep beep beep. Whiirrr.."
XD Hello, guilt machine -_-
