You should only merge with someone you know very well; Tigress and I knew each other for years before we merged. If you merge with a random person, there's a possibility they could trade away your pets, break the rules and get you banned as well, or do something along those lines. Besides, you'd have to wait for a mod to approve a merge between you and said person.

Here's a quote from Sorren Fey on a topic similar to this one:

Do not ask random members to merge with you.

You should only merge with someone you trust 100% and that can't be someone you just met.
You should also remember that merging comes with risks also. If your partner gets your account banned, you will lose everything.

It's for your own good that you don't merge with a stranger, really. I suggest you get to know someone and then you merge.

And please don't bump topics that haven't fallen off the first page as that could be considered spam.
