How can you tell if someone likes you?

Hi. xD This is a stupid question to ask here but the other sites weren't helpful. If this is off topic don't delete please, pm me the thread first. :3

There's this guy I like, and I'm not sure if he likes me back. We don't have any classes together but

*he looks at me in the hallways

*he randomly appears at most my classes to say 'hi' to my friends, even though his classes are not even in the same hall. And last year some of his friends were in my class, and he didn't say hi to them. (I don't think he liked me then.)

*Last year, in the lunch line, I told him off for cutting. This year he was behind me in line, then pushed in front of me and yelled, "V.I.P. Coming through!" very obviously, and he looked like he was trying not to smile when I told him not to cut.

*After 7th hour yesterday I was at my locker and felt something sharp (like a binder) jab my back. I turned around and saw him walking past, and he looked back at me to see his reaction. (he was carrying a binder.)

*This morning at my locker, he purposely brushed me as he walked by even though he could have avoided me.

*It seems like he tries to get my attention sometimes.

*I have his 7th hour class for 8th hour, and it takes him a really long time to pack up, which makes me suspect he likes me, but I'm not sure.

Yes, stupid question. xD Please answer though!

Ugh...When we passed each other in the hallways I stared at him (and I think he noticed) to check if he was looking at me, and he completely ignored me. I mean, he'd look at me, but then he'd try not to make eye contact. Maybe I'm freaking him out by staring at him.
