In my school we take NWEA but they don't show hardly anything. I am in high school math even college levels in math sometimes. I scored a 24 on a practice act test. I really think i am gifted but there was a group in like 3rd grade and i wasn't in it and they got a cool name and everything they wanted. I hated them. My friend was in it but she never bragged about it. I don't like putting people off so i help people all the time. I'm like a young tutor. I'm tutoring a 3rd grader now.
Finally came back :3

I suppose you could consider me "gifted" if by that you mean all advanced classes, including art and choir.

I am a 8th grader in:
Geometry (10th grade math)
ADV (9th/10th grade) other core content classes
ADV Art (Best at realism/animals, fails at people)
ADV Show Choir (High school equivelent) and choir teacher's VIP (6 out of her 72 8th graders were chosen!)
Theatre (No advanced class or non-advanced) and am also starting to take scriptwriting/acting classes at a pretty nice children's theater and got two previous big parts in the school plays (Mushu in Mulan and White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland)
I am also sorta gifted in vaulting (gymnastics on horses)
and I got state recognition on the ACT! I don't remember the scores, though

I am a freashman at Westfield high.

I am in grade 6 violin music, which I believe is the most advanced.
I take Geometry Honors, Alg 1 HN, and participate in Chamber Orchestras.
I get straight A's in everthing except for History.

I've been in GT schools since 2nd grade.

When I was in Secondary school I was inducted into a group called N.A.G.T.Y (National Academy of the Gifted and Talented Youth) based on some scores from a test I took. I was always in the 'gifted' groups at school, but I'm a procrastinator so whilst being labeled as 'gifted' I was very much an underachiever.

I'm classified as spatial, linguistic, intrapersonal, and kinesthetic, I was offered a chance to skip grades, because I couldn't relate to people my own age. I too am very creative (mainly on paper) and usually off on my own, most likely reading, writing or drawing. No one really got why I was reading encyclopedias in kindergarten, or why I skipped all the children books and went straight for books like Harry Potter, when I took the test, I finally found out why.
I'm trying to complete my cat collection for my Persian, Snickers(2005-2012).

I am in all advanced classes (at least what is offered at my school), play two instruments (well, actually, I quit piano, but I played for 7 years, so I can still play, at least), and read the 6th Harry Potter book in second grade. I don't think I'm gifted though. I wouldn't know, I never took a test. I didn't even know they existed. 0_o

lol yeah, I guess you could call me 'Gifted.'

Every year I get a paper I'm supposed to give to my parents saying I'm gifted or whatnot and if they sign it I can participate in special after school activities. I usually just doodle all over the back of the paper, then stuff it into my bag. xD

I never do my homework or pay attention in class. I mean, there are more important problems in life than math equations. Drawing helps me find my way; algebra doesn't.

People who sit around me are always saying "All you ever do is draw." and "So, what are you going to draw in class today?"

Literally every chance I get, I'm drawing. If there's no paper around, I draw all over my shirt and hands.

Plus I like to cheer people up and make them laugh.

And that's what I think makes me gifted. But really everyone's gifted in their own ways :) You don't need to take some test at school to find that out!

I took the tests in second grade and was classified as "gifted" but we call it focus here. Now, we are technically classified as special ed because our brains work differently and we think a bit different. Think about it like this; a normal person's brain lines up and everything is connected, but in our brains, it doesn't line up at all and is scattered all over the place. I, personally, love being like this. I can stay unorganized...sorta, and usually I am leader of group activities and such. I love to lead and hate being wrong. Which can be a blessing and a curse :P

I'm not going to lie. I believe 'gifted' to be a rather idle word. Everyone is gifted in one way or another. You just happen to be more intelligent. There are many people out there like you. I myself am quite talented at art, music, literature. I think at a higher level than people my age.
Doesn't mean I'm 'gifted'.
Not trying to offend anyone, simply popping in to state an opinion.
Oh, and also, I disagree with a post made a few pages back. Normal people are not 'boring'. There are non 'gifted' people that are crazy and weird. You don't have to be a 'genius' to have fun my friend.
