Gifted People.

I always wonder what makes people think that they are 'gifted' or 'better/smarter' then others. Honestly, everybody is good at something. I don't see why you want to label yerself as 'gifted.' If you need it to feel special, then by all means, please do. I'll label myself as 'awesome' then ^^.

-New line- I get A+ (A* is not a grade) in all my subjects without trying. I'm the most popular girl in my private school, I have a gorgeous boyfriend, Shay Fletcher, who I've been with for 2 years. <3 I've got A+ in music, drama, English literature and language, German, French, Chinese, Urdu, maths, biology, chemistry, physics, P.E., R.E., citezenship, I.T., geography, history and more the rest basically.
-New Line- I've got scholoarships from 16 colledges wanting to accept me, and from as well as scholarships from Pineapple Dance Studios and ballet academy. I have everything I want; a whole drressing room full of clothes, make up, jewellery, shoes and assecories, an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, trampoligne, everything. But sometimes I feel 'Can I make it to the top like my parents?' xxx

Hmmm, well..kinda makes me wonder..If you are gifted, then what am i? And what's my friend? She must be super gifted because she could correct all of that...

I feel that people who say 'i'm gifted' actually just mean 'I'm arrogant'. That's my opinion though ^^, feel free to disagree with me, i don't really care lolz.

Just because I am not in gifted programs does not mean I am not intelligent. Most adults I talk to say I am quite mature and smart for my age. I am not in a gifted program because I refused to take the test that would have told me if I qualified. I did not want to take it because, well, most of the people in them have this silly mindset that they are better and smarter than people that are not in these programs. I really did not want to be around people like that.

Judging by your spelling and grammar, I don't think you are "gifted". =_=
If they let you into gifted programs writing like that I'm pretty sure anyone could get it.

Also, It is Pratically Impossible to do 18 GCSE subjects with a 50 hour timetable (thats what mine is, over two weeks) I take 11, with one which is 60% instead of 40% coursework like my others, and I have to still do a lot of work afterschool. So the only way that's 'possible' is having no holidays which in you could do maybe 1 more....Also you cannot get a scholarship from Pineapple..it is not a college.

I'm going to have to agree that everyone is intelligent, everyone has a great amount of potential. Just not everyone passes a test that marks them as "gifted". It's really about how hard you try, and how much of that intelligence and common sense you USE in day-to-day life.
I used to go to a school that was pretty much split into three groups- Highly Gifted, Gifted, and "Traditional". It was pretty awful. Everyone in my program, the first of those three was way too stuck up and high and mighty. It was pretty awful. I really don't consider it right.

We don't have a 'gifted' Program. but at GCSE there is a higher and a foundation paper, but because on the higher paper the lowest grade you can get is a 'D' so most people do do it, so there's not really a sense of

no its an academy rarley if they really impressed they offer to take you on - its not something you can get by revising its only if they see your talent

^^ having such a busy life does this to you i can spell its just that i was getting late for dance class - i cannot type fast! and no not anyone can make it there - our school takes the 'gifted and talented' <--- as its called to wellington college for a week inclusive the college actually offers this! so unfortunatley its not anyone somepeople cant hack it though - jealousy, dont worry everyones human xx

Wow, bragging much? Why are you talking about your parents being rich, it's not as if you earned the money... Also, I highly doubt you're gifted. Even if you are, normal people spell better than you.

I'm not sure that's very polite. Perhaps she is gifted and just chooses to type like this (Although, if that were the case, I would've shown you in a reply or something. But whatever.) I have a lot of friends who are pretty smart and choose to type in chat-speak when they're texting or emailing or something similar.
However, I would suggest trying not to brag, even if it's not on purpose. It makes you seem bratty. Which you may very well be, actually.
