Role Play Rant Thread Redux

I have the perfect Rp title, but no plot. Guess I am off to make the other Rp I have stuck in my head.

I want to make a zombie RP based off of The Walking Dead, but I tried one before and it just... failed. .-.
No one seems to watch it, or is vaguely interested in being any of the characters, despite me providing a link with detailed information for each character.

Plus, I don't mind it having some romance, but not so much that the whole plot revolves around it.
I'd like to try and handle it like TWD does; showing how different people cope with the situation they're in, be it through shutting themselves off from everyone, or becoming romantically involved with someone. Though knowing the way most RP's go, everyone'd just go for the lovin', rather than anything more interesting or challenging.
One more reason why it would die?
I want the characters to be adults. ono I mean, if you think about it, when in a group, the adults are all going to protect the teenagers and kids, rather than actually let them go and fight zombies. And they have a much better chance of survival than a small kid, in my opinion.
Annyway, there's a distinct lack of grown up characters on CS, so it'd just flop hideously, as I'm not about to accept a load of emo/scene, "pretty and flirty and happy but will fight and get angry easily" teenagers into this.

Make a kid character whom is incredibly stubborn and bratty

Make an adult who is terrible at fighting and probally dies.

Make kid die after a while
