Choir?

this year my class is doing one mind one heart one hope, didnt my lord diviver danel, and ubi caritas, oh and something else i cant think of at the moment

we did seise the day a few years ago btw. im a soprano but my teacher teaches well

Ooo, we sing Ubi Caritas in church at Holy Thursday, I love it. I love songs in other languages, especially Latin songs. We sang Ave Verum last year in choir camp and then at a few concerts, and I loved it. Although that could've been because choir camp was my first time back on alto after The Great Mistake (when I ended up having to sing 1st soprano because we had too many altos for music festival. It was a mess. I had to fake half the time.)

I have a "Showtunes" voice my friends say. I do far better singing songs from Wicked than anything else pretty much. I also kicked butt on the American Idiot version of 21 Guns and a ton of Glee songs, but sucked on the originals xD

My best friend Avery has the same kind of voice. She sings pop music a lot better than classical. She's also totally suited to characters like Glinda. She and my other bestie Dani are singing What Is This Feeling from Wicked for music festival. It's going to be so good.

every year we have a christmas concert and spring concert and every year we go on tour with the rest of
the choir. last year we went to niagra falls and the year before that we went to toronto and got to go up the c.n tower! we sleepover in a "hotel" church. what i mean by that is they have rooms but its a church! my choir is a blast!

We had our first choir performance today. It was just singing for the opening mass for the St. Augustine & St. Dominic school students, and the Christian Ethics students from the high school. But it went really good. I always love singing at mass. We sang Here I Am to Worship, We Are One Body, I Will Follow, and Awesome God. I especially love We Are One Body, even though most people find the rythyms difficult. I'm pretty much the only person who knows exactly what I'm doing for the whole song.
But somehow, I ended up having to sing at the mic for Awesome God. I'm one of the few people who know the verse, so Mrs. Lees, our teacher, asked me and her daughter Jessica to lead, which was kinda crazy, this being my first performance ever with this choir. But the mic is scary. I'm pretty sure I wasn't actually singing into it half the time. I don't like having it in my face. But the performance was fun.

I'm in Honors Choir. It. Sucks. We have to sing Latin, and Russion songs. Sometimes, SOMETIMES we get to sing our own language..... (Which is English btw xD)

I'm in girls choir. People say I should be in honor, but the teacher hates my family XD We sings a song called "sleep gently sleep" which is a asong about a luluby with sheep (I know. Sheep? come on) and then we sing "come to him" a church hymn (which we arent even able to speak religion in school) and finally "A new day" a song about midievil festivals. Non upbeat. My teacher doen't pick the best songs You people who do glee songs are lucky children

I am bursting with joy, cuz' I got in the all-state chorus! Only 5 8th graders, 1 7th grader, and 4 6th graders made it this year
