My little wolf Rp site called ice river is dead. DEAD! No matter how many posts I make, nobody will reply, and one person still won't make the rules, pack signup and whatnot for her pack. And it's been months after she said she would.

@Clockwork I'm very well aware of that. I have given myself a personality check, though, and have decided to actually not think of "OHMYGAWD SUCH HORRIBLE THINGS!" such as robberies and 9/11. I worry, sure, but that doesn't mean I have to go straight out and go: "OH MY GAWD I HOPE DEY OKAY AND I ALSO HOPE I'LL BE ALRIGHT ANDFBDABFJADBF" like it was going to be the end of all life on Earth. Remembering it just seems like a major negative thing to do. We're remembering it for all the wrong reasons, or at least we are at my school. They focus on how people died and how we were attacked. They never mentioned the "heroes" who had given their lives to save someone else when they could have saved themselves. If we were going to remember 9/11 I'd rather it be on something positive then negative. I worry for people who might die. I'm worried for people who are hurt or missing. Hell, I would cry for this people. If they're already dead there's nothing you can do. I'd rather cry over something that someone may be able to change, or for someone that's living and suffering.

Of course, of all my opinion is influenced by my personal beliefs. Please, don't take offense to it if anyone here has. :3

My granddad has dimensia (sp?). He can't even remember who I am. He's been living alone ever since my Grandma died, and his condition has only gotten worse. He just had a stroke today, he doesn't know who anyone is except my mom, and he's panicking so badly, and he's confused.
He's in the hospital now. </3
I really hope he's going to be okay.
Sadly, that's all I can really do is hope for him. I feel so useless, seeing I can't do anything. D=

You don't have to be frantic or anything, just be aware. :3 And daaang, they don't acknowledge the heroes at all? :| That's not the way it was where I went. That's all we think about. The other day I was talking with my mother about those "inside job" theories, and we both agreed that either way, those men and women who rushed into the burning building when everyone else was rushing out? Those daring people who risked their lives to help the rest? Those are the heroes, and many didn't make it out alive. So I don't think that anyone who wasn't in that building has a right to judge how they were feeling when they had to face jumping out from the top or burning alive.

Those are the people that I think of when I think of 9/11.

It's a shame that's not the way the people in your area feel about it.

And yes, there is a point where you should stop grieving-- for an individual person. That's what my mother has always told me. Her mother died when she was ten and more than thirty years later, she is still crying over it. There has to be a day where the crying has to stop, but that doesn't mean that we have to stop remembering.

That's true. It's nice to acknowledge the dead, I will admit, but where I am and over most of the internet it's gotten to the point where people make it seem like it's a religion or law or something.

Different people = Different view on life/opinions.

All I've ever heard about 9/11 was how horrid it was. I never even knew about these "heroes" until I was told on here. e.e It's sad, really, how people seem to want to remember the horrid accident more then the heroes.

I hope this makes sense. ._.

Why do people bother about boyfriends in middleschool? There not important,and it's likely you be with each other for more than a month. You'll break up,and move to the next boy. Why is it so important? I'm not going out with ANYONE till I'm in highschool or college. And I'll make sure there nice to be around.
