Shine, I want to but, he's always hanging around boys and those boys, and him, are a grade up, so it's hard to go over and talk to him about it without his friends jumping in. Plus, I think my friend did it because one day my friend Josh was talking to him and suddenly the boy stopped talking to me, all he ever does is say hi to me.

Is he in your class? If so, ask him around then. If not, you could catch him at lunch or something. Or get a friend to get him for you :3

i think the best thing you can do right now is follow your heart, if he makes you happy then dont leave him! you deserve to be happy with someone. noone has the right to tell you otherwise. take some deep deep breaths and tell your other voice to 'F' off cause he is what you want/need right now and he makes you happy :]

I've realized I'm not that good a person, and that I don't deserve him. He's so much better than me: He lives on a farm, has a large family, many nice things, and friends that enjoy his company. I live in a sloppy townhouse and have familial issues. Whereas he is dutiful, respectful, and generous, I'm lazy, rude, and selfish. I could never do enough to even be on the same level with him. I only want what's best for him, which I'm certain is someone, anyone else, who can make him happier than I ever could.
Unfortunately Glasses does not seem to see this. He keeps insisting that he wants to be with me and that I am good enough. I'm sure he's just saying that in order to make me feel better, but I know it isn't real.
I don't know how many times I've told Glasses that I know I'm not good enough for him, yet he just goes on saying "the only thing left is to try harder" and other nonsense about trying to get me to believe that he gives a damn.
I'm not giving in. When I was younger people took advantage of my gullibleness and lied to me in order to make fun of me later. Why is Glasses doing such a thing to me? He never struck me as the cruel type.

Not to sound whiny, but... yeah, just hoping this gets noticed. :\ Posts get overlooked quickly in threads like this, I've seen.

I haven't posted here in forever--but anyway. This is ridiculous. You are just like me! I don't think this Glasses fellow is trying to hurt you... Like you said, he's a decent guy. You just have to trust him and give yourself some more credit. Let me tell ya, Glasses knows there are other fish in the sea and if he is trying to keep you with him, you should accept that of him and embrace it. You aren't your young self anymore and Glasses isn't the one who took advantage of you, so you should let that go. A bad analogy would be drinking coffee: You get a few crappy ones now and again, but there are always some that are just right.

At the same time... Something else to keep in mind is that if you are unhappy where you are in your own life, you cannot be happy in a relationship. Figuring out your own life and getting things under control is an important step to take before getting into a relationship. Love yourself first and all that.

I read that...and honestly, don't bring yourself down. I don't think hes trying to hurt you, and I think he may actually truly care, but the way he sounds like hes talking may come off as - for a lack of a better way of stating it - bull sh*t but honestly, some guys can't get across what they want to say without sounding totally insane to us. For me personally with my boyfriend D, he seems WAY to good for me, and I always tell myself this. Hes super smart, hes sweet, always happy, fun, honest, caring and all around a really great guy; while there is me who lies, has her mean days, can be annoying, mostly always depressed, has family issues at times...the list goes on. Half the time I don't even know how I got so lucky.
I'm like you in the way that you used to be the person who let herself believe people and then got hurt. I was that girl and that's why I have depression issued for the most part is because for my whole life I was the girl that people made fun of. Its taken a whole lot for me to get as far as I have with D and be able to give my heart to him even a little.
I also have semi trust issues, but with D I feel like i'm safe around him. Sure at times I feel a little nervous because I don't want to get hurt but hes told me many times, and I quote - "I will never hurt you <3 You mean to much to me".
I get that your afraid, but if your in a relationship you have to trust that the person your with WONT hurt you in that way. Its a risk you have to be willing enough to take, and if you feel like your not ready for that risk, dont force yourself to stay with the person...
However, I think you should give him a little credit and try to work it out with yourself, because you may be surprised later on.
