Well, you shouldn't lie to her. Tell her your going to need time to get over him. I had a simalir situation. I had a big crush on a boy I will call M. M was nice... but then he kinda turned into a jerk. He was always trying to be cool and was sarcastic and mean in the process. I still liked him though. I knew he was being a jerk, and I knew he probably wouldn't stop. It took me a while, but I eventuelly, I DID get over him. Now I'm only uncomfortable around him because, turns out, he actually likes me. DX But yeah, point being I never thought I could get over him, but eventually I did, and so can you.
