They do it because they don't want there art critiqued, as that is what the intermediate board is for.

Quite frankly I hate people that claim to be open and accepting of everyone, then they turn around and say "That's not natural, that's not right. It's wrong and you should stop doing it because I don't like it."
The worst ones are pro-gay rights, but nothing else.
