Dear best friend,
You are way too melo-dramatic. When I had surgery on the roof of my mouth (I had a tooth hidden under my roof and they had to uncover it) I got up and went on with life. Sure it was bad but I was strong and the pain pills helped. I ate chips only two day after the surgery when my mother thought it would be fine to go to Taco Bell. Though the chips made it hurt to drink, I dealt with the pain.
You on the other hand go home from school when you have a headache or stomach ache. I bet you will lay in bed for the first few days you are recovering and sleep. You always sleep. I invite you over and sometimes you say no because you don't feel very well (Which is ussually just a minor headache) or you have to sleep. I know you have depression problems but still.
Though it's true that I have never had tonsils taken out, it shouldn't take you too long to recover, and wikipedia says it takes 10 to 20 days. Besides, if I was invited to a party the day after my tooth was uncovered I would have jumped on the offer. You on the other hand don't when the party is nine days away.
I need to know if you are coming or not. Because you developed that random sickness of chocolate where you can no longer eat chocolate without getting sick I can't just make Death By Chocolate. I have to either not do Death By Chocolate or also do that Wafer Vanilla Pudding Banana Cake thing. If you aren't coming I don't want to make it.
Though you may still be sore on the 22nd, you should be well enough to move around and go on with your life. I don't give a rat's butt that you may still be healing, if you can walk, talk, and eat with only some discomfort than you are well enough to come to my party. And it's not even like I want a gift. I already told you and the four other people to not bring a gift. All I want is for all five of my friends to attend.
Two said yes, two won't text back, and you're a maybe leaning towards no.
