So, I had to stay up until midnight last night baking cookies in a hot kitchen, while the whole time my family was outside listening to music and not being miserable. Then, they get the great idea to go grab some of the cookies to eat while I was preparing the next batch. NO, they are for the part today, family. Gosh.
Then, I get up this morning, a few more cookies are gone, and my mom tells me to design a sign for our door telling the guests to just come right inside. Of course, she couldn't have given me that job yesterday or two days ago, no. I had to hurry my ass off to get the stupid sign done in about five minutes on my computer that seems to really like to go slow whenever I'm short on time. I had no time to plan, think of a cute design, nothing. I finally create a sign I'm somewhat pleased with, but am not sure of the whether the color of the text looks good, so I go experiment with some other colors. My mom decides it's fine and has me put it on my flash drive to bring it over to her computer to print it. Of course, the printer decided not to work properly, and didn't print my waves that I drew, and it screwed up my gradient on the sun I made. So, it has an ugly greenish yellow sun (I had made it orange and yellow...there should have been no green whatsoever in it...), and some crayon-drawn waves.
And none of my friends can come to the party. I'm stuck with tons of people nowhere near my age. When this happens, I feel extremely on edge, even in my own home. >.>
