When I get really bad trades for my favorite pets, and cancel them telling them their not for trade, and then post it on the Trade Rant Thread, I usually get a reply back, saying: "Why don't you just lock the group..? Then you wouldn't get bad offers anymore."

I can do whatever I wish. . It's not up to you to decide whether I lock my groups or not. Honestly, I have a problem about locking groups that aren't completed. I don't know why, but I do. So that's why I put in my rules that I don't trade pets with hearts, or pets in my favorite groups. Everybody thinks it's stupid when you leave pets like that open and vulnerable, but honestly their not off-limits completely. If I get a really good trade for one, I'll probably accept it. So that's just another reason to keep it unlocked.

Even though I keep them unlocked, that's not a reason to go and break my rules. . . It's really not that hard.

But, I do agree with the people who say that when people put group names: NFT EVER OMGGGGG, it's kind of over doing it, and if they're never for trade, then yeah, you should probably lock it. .
But ones that don't have anything like that on the name of the group, or ones that are open to really good offers, don't necessarily need to be locked, you know what I mean?

Besides, if I put that I'm taking good offers on the pets in those groups, I'd just get a whole lot more bad trades for them.

I'm not bashing anybody, or talking to somebody specific, I'm just stating my opinion. ^-^


Sorry, had to let that go somewhere, and if I'd posted it on the Trade Rant Thread, I would've started a huge debate. ;_;

This. I don't lock my groups (except for the one holding my dream pets) and people keep telling me I should lock them. I have my reasons for keeping them unlocked, I wish people could understand that.
