The last thing Odd could remember was being up in Shifter heaven, telling jokes to the Powers that Be. They'd been annoyed with him because he wouldn't stop. And suddenly he was flying through the air in a body just like his old one, and any damage to his soul had been cloned and repaired. He crashed into a tree and suddenly branches and leaves slapped his face and broke as he plowed through the tree. Before he knew what had happened, he did a complete faceplant in the dirt, skidded, and came to a rest tewnty feet from where he'd hit the ground first.

"That was...weird...How could the Powers that Be not like the one with the soup can, the leprechan and the pole?" he muttered, spitting out dirt.
