I don't like my seminary teacher. Magnets are pretty dang awesome. I loves them. (except for when someone puts one on my computer they I HATE them.) I like the toy ones you can build stuff with the best.

My seminary teacher is pretty cool. (He excepts the fact I believe in evolution so how can I not?) I once had a seminary teacher hated mash potatoes. So they all have their little quirks. I have quite a few friends who love animals and offended by stuff like that. But I'm sure you will learn so valuable things from your seminary teacher and keep an open mind despite the obvious issues.

Do young girls get married to men? (I heard stuff like that on news reports)
A. Nope. In fact, we're not allowed to start dating till we're 16, and we're not allowed to get married till we're 25.

That's what I said! It totally confuzzled me. =\ My mom got married when she was 20 so I was like, "That's not really a REAL rule, right?!" O.o

My seminary teacher suffers from insomnia. O.o she scares me. (but she's nice so it's all good.)

I know! Mama Bear got married at 20, my dad was 24. I think that's just a guideline most parents set. Of course, by the time you're legally old enough to get married, you don't have to listen. xD I think sixteen isn't actually, like, a commandment or anything. Again, I think it's just what most parents tell their kids. I know several boys/girls, who are 13/14/15, and have boyfriends/girlfriends. I'm not allowed to date yet. X3

I'm a vegetarian. I'm the only vegetarian in my family -.- Honestly, even counting great grandparents and cousins and whatnot. I'm planning on going vegan eventually... My mom basically told me she'd buy me vegetarian food if I promised not to go vegan before finishing college.

And at seminary they told us that we can still believe in evolution. But we only really need to know how to go to heaven, not how the heavens go (as my seminary teacher puts it). I like that aspect of what we've learned ^.^

Had a hiatus for a while, going to comment on some old comments from a couple pages back. xD

I'm not Mormon, but I live in Palmyra. When they put on the Hill Cumorah Pageant (which I have gone to see) I hate the people that protest it. Makes me wonder what religion they are - or if they even have one? Some of my best friends are LDS and it really makes me wonder about all the stereotyping that goes on about you guys. Just thought I would put my two cents in

I love the Hill Cumorah Pageant <3 I wish they did it every year. ;-; <3 Singing in it was one of those rare opportunities to feel the spirit, and I crave more of that. If only, if only.

Depression sucks. I've delved deep into it before and well... never liked it. I was always unhappy with myself and thinking I could do better, and scolding myself for not trying my best, which of course only made things worse.
One thing that helped was talking to myself in the mirror. (Yea yea, I'm homeschooled. I get ta do weird things like that...) I would normally say "Whoa. Your hair died today." but soon I was trying hard to replace that thought of badness with something more positive, such as, "Wow TheHangingTree! You're looking decent today!"

I do that too! o: But instead, I say stuff like, "Hey gorgeous." and "Looking niceeeee" to myself with the weird snap with my hand and a wink. xD I'm weird. c:

Coolio. I have a few vegetarian friends. I myself am not but I've thought about it. I think it's cool that people do that.
