My Little Pony Roleplay: Would you be interested? POLL

Quick note:

These basic ideas, plots, town names etc. were made up by me. Borrowing bits of my ideas is fine by me, but don't copy everything! Thank you.

Also, this would be a semi-lit roleplay, meaning I'd want at least two, full paragraphs (four sentences, minimum, in each paragraph) for each roleplay post.

Why I'm making this thread:

I'm interested in starting a My Little Pony roleplay, based on the world of the new MLP: Friendship is Magic television show. Members won't be able to play characters from the show, but can instead create their own ponies, etc. to play. Basically, I'm wanting to get an idea of how many people would be interested in joining and/or helping me out with the thread. I'm looking for people wanting to roleplay and people wanting to moderate and/or help me out with plot direction.

The basic plot:

The story takes place in Ponydale, a quaint town not that far north from the large city of Los Pegasus. It's a town very similar to Ponyville from the show, and Ponydale will have many of the same events/holidays/etc. that Ponyville does.

At first, everything is peaceful in Ponydale. It's a few weeks into spring. Birds are singing. Flowers are blooming. The Pegasus are taking care to keep the skies clear, for now. But east of Ponydale, in a forest Ponydale residents know as Ghastly Woods, a secret plot is brewing. One day, when the sun was shining bright and clear, the dark clouds that typically festered over Ghastly Woods began to extend their reach over all of Ponydale. Mighty torrents of rain poured down on the town, and all of the ponies hunkered in their homes to wait out the storm.

When the clouds finally receded back to the Ghastly Woods, the ponies of Ponydale were relieved. That was, until it was discovered that one of the town's residents was mysteriously missing! No pony could find her, nor could they figure out where in Equestria she could have gone. After a town-wide search, the ponies gave up looking for their friend, thinking she must have left town right after the storm subsided.

A week went by without anything happening. But, once again, the black clouds of Ghastly Woods began to descend over Ponydale. Ponies once more kept to their homes to wait out the ghastly weather. When the clouds receded again, the residents came to find out that yet another pony had gone mysteriously missing.

After another ghastly storm, and another mysterious disappearance, the ponies put two and two together: the storms coming from Ghastly Woods were causing ponies to disappear! But why was this happening? And what could the ponies do to stop it?

General Info:

The roleplay would begin about a week after the third storm and third disappearance. I'm hoping to get at least 5 other roleplayers, so that we could have 6 main character ponies. (I'd be playing the 6th.)

Who gets to be a main character would depend on a first come, first accepted basis. Meaning a person that posted first with a form that's missing information or is not long enough would not be accepted before a second poster whose form was all filled out and was a good length. I'd tell the first poster they need to work on their form before they can be accepted and then accept the second poster. (I hope that makes sense.) I want roleplayers who take the time filling out their form correctly.

I'm not limiting the roleplay to just five other people, though. Secondary ponies that live in town can be roleplayed together or separately from the main characters. For example, while the main character ponies are off together, secondary pony characters could be partying it up somewhere else in town. Or, for another example, if one of the main characters is strolling through town they might come across one of the secondary pony characters and interact with them. However, ponies that own shops will be NPC characters that I'd create. (NPC meaning non-player character. These would be characters everyone could roleplay.)

Moderators/Plot Helpers:

I'd need people to help moderate the thread, to make sure people aren't just chatting in OOC or spamming with pointless posts. Moderators could also roleplay, if they so desire. I'm looking for at least two moderators.

Plot Helpers are people who would help me figure out more plot-lines for the story. I've got the basic, main plot sort of sketched out, but plot helpers would need to help me flesh it out a bit more and add minor plots to the story so people have different things to do. I want all main characters and secondary characters to have stuff they can do. Plot Helpers can roleplay, if they so desire. However, I'd want them to promise not to let any of the other players know what's in store for the characters. I'm looking for at least two Plot Helpers.

Okay, that's basically it! If this generates enough interest, I will go ahead with the plans of making a map and continuing to flesh out the story plot. Feel free to vote, comment, offer suggestions, whatever!

Yes, I know. But how many wolf pack roleplays are going on right now? How many vampire/werewolf ones? Or teens with super powers? Or, a better example, how many Warrior cats related roleplays are there? And they all have different plots, characters, etc. Just because there is already a MLP roleplay doesn't mean I can't start one, right?

Oh. Sorry if I sounded a little defensive, haha. I just don't want anybody thinking that I'm trying to copy the other MLP roleplay or anything. And I don't want to steal any ideas from their roleplay, else the two roleplays start getting too similar.

Looks like there's definitely some interest in the roleplay, so perhaps if I find some time this weekend I'll start figuring out a more in-depth plot and extra information (such as what species can be played, how many characters each roleplayer can have, etc.)!

Is anybody interested in being a moderator or helping me out with the plot?
